How do I save the log file so I can send it to Voodoo Shield or post it? I don't see how to do it. If I have to I can take a screenshot. I would prefer to send the log file though if possible. I'm having problems with VS blocking windows functions. No matter how long I leave Voodoo Shield on learning mode it will not learn to allow certain windows functions, and system files. Seems to be a bug. I'm surfing without VS until I can find a fix.

We can add a feature in the next version where you can save a copy of the log, but for now, can you take a screenshot? What processes is VS blocking? It shouldn't take long at all for VS to learn a process. If VS is in training mode and you start a new program, it should learn it within a tenth of a second. Please let me know a few more details, we should be able to narrow it down. What version of Windows are you running and what processes is it blocking? Thank you!

BTW, have you tried to go to settings and Automatically Allow all software from the Windows Systems folders? This option does not apply to all of windows directories, and only the ones that are safe to do so.

No matter how long I leave Voodoo Shield on learning mode it continues to block the following processes shown in the 3 screen shots. As soon as I enable Voodoo Shield it begins to block these processes. Voodoo Shield gives no option to list blocks in order by date so they are in no particular order. It only gives an option to show all entire log by date. I can't answer your question wether or not it is set to allow all files in the system folder since Voodoo shield does not give me an option to check this. It only showed that at installation, and I can't remember if I choose that option. I do remember choosing to allow all files from C:|Program

Disregard the above part of this post. I can't post the 3 screen shots because they each exceed the photo size limit of the forum. I saved them in Jpeg format so they should not be that large. I'm on a laptop which has a very small mouse pad so I'm unable to select, and cut a portion of the screen shot to make it smaller. If you want to give me a support email address I can send the screen shots to you, and a message describing my problem. I''m ready to uninstall VS at this point because suspect its causing functionality issues with some of my applications.

Have you tried to reset your whitelist? We have made a lot of changes to the recent versions, and this will usually clear up any weird problem that users experience.

Since August I have loaded and unloaded this product, but in the end, I cant find a thing about it i dont like. It simplifies the entire process of secuirty and works, plain and simple. Couple it with a free AV and save your money and peace of mind from now on.

Good Evening ! Is the app available for sale? Just installed the 14day trial. When you boot up...does Voodoo Shield...re-set itself? Thought I'd ask a basic newbie question. Using it in conjunction with AppGuard and WSA Essentials...so far the apps appear too be compatible. I've placed Voodoo Shield in Train Me mode and in a couple of weeks place it in Always On mode. If it does as advertised, I'll purchase it in a Toronto minute. Sincerely...Securon

Yes, $20.00 for one computer, support is great right here in the forums. Keeping it in training mode for a few hours and just start your different apps is all that is required. It really is a great product.:thumb:

Let's assume I have an AV and it isn't detectiong an infection. If I install VS now, would the learning mode allow the malware? Thank you

I don't work for Voodoo Shield, but i'm sure it would. We can wait for a Voodoo Shield employee to respond though.

It doesn't stop malware if you any on the machine so it should be a clean system before installing VS.

No it doesn't automatically reset itself after reboot. It will recall anything you allowed to run during training mode after reboot. You can manually reset it back to an initial state by resetting the white list. You will then have to retrain it.

It is best to install on a clean machine. If the malware is already on the machine and in memory VS will allow it if you are in training mode.

Good Evening ! Thanks for the advice G1111...I'll just leave it at Apps I selected for Training...I set it at Smart Default...as for Malware AppGuard and WSA should keep any Malware at bay. And I can also bring in the Calvary if needed with MBAM Pro...and Hitman Pro. Sincerely...Securon
