    First impressions:

    1) I am very pleasantly surprised with how well Lavasoft did. :isay:
    2) Bitdefender and it's clones still doing well. :)
    3) AVG - slipped a bit

MSE, AhnLab, PC Tools, McAfee - these products just need to step up the update frequency and work on the heuristics a little. Pushing one or two updates a day vs. hourly makes quite a bit of difference in RAP tests......

Why is Huari at a top spot. Is that not the Korean AV ViRobot that everyone says is bad but now seems to be top spot for no reason.

*Edit* ~ Also does anyone know what engines G-Data use now?

if you read full report you will know the reason :D
here is one of the reason: ViRobot uses BD and its own engine (S3)
    G-Data 2013 still uses avast! (B) and BD (A)

I remember those times, back in the days (I mean my days) i didn't know much about the internet so i relied mainly on magazines for information and they always praised Panda AV. :D

Bitdefender has a very low rate of FP's compared to Ikarus and a much bigger and more complete DB IMO. So it will do good. :D

Do you mean Emsisoft will use the BitDefender engine instead of Ikarus? :)

Apologies if this has been asked before - looking at the chart (Apr - Oct 2012) it appears to suggest that Kaspersky Internet Security has worse proactive detection that Kaspersky AntiVirus. Am i reading right?
