No, only the URL filter and only for a subset of some URL signatures, not all.

I have Panda Cloud AV Pro installed but have been running Look N Stop in lieu of activating Panda's Firewall. I am about ready to disable or remove LnS and activate the Panda to give it a spin. Does Panda stealth all ports in testing and is this really a big deal...o_O

It didn't stealth all ports when PCmag tested it. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2407426,00.asp

Thanks for the link. I finally activated it and tested it at Shields up and it showed a few ports as closed. As long as they are closed thats OK...

    Looking for help.

I put Panda Cloud 2.0.0 on my wife's Win 7 x64 Dell Laptop. I ran a full scan that took less than 2 seconds and scanned 90 files. I did this three times and got the same result each time.

I have other security so I am not terribly concerned but I do need to get this fixed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Are you logged in with some kind of limited access user account or an admin account?

If you're logged in with a limited user account, log off and log back in with the admin account and then run the scan again.

Can you verify if the user account is admin?

Is it possible to downgrade PCAV Pro to PCAV Free without deinstall/reinstall? :doubt:

I think windows firewall is "better" at the moment. :doubt: However, how can I downgrade Panda? :doubt:

Why not simply disable the firewall?

    Exactly!

Also I'm interested in why do you think the Windows FW is better? Is it a protection issue? Because the WF doesn't include IDS attack signatures againt vulnerabilities, denial of service, etc.

How well did Panda Cloud 2.0 do in the latest VB100 test and where would it appear in the latest RAP test?

Hey guys im relatively new here (well, was browsing these forums for some time now though), and decided to register today.

I was using zonealarm suite for some time but got rid of it a couple of days ago. Mostly because its huge system usage (only got 2 gigs of ram, so vsmon using 350-400mb was more than noticeable).

So i got myself privatefirewall, and so far cant complain, im quite happy with it. Was wondering if anyone here is using panda with privatefirewall? Any hints, or conflicts i could expect maybe? I believe panda has hips too, and as my firewall already has one, would there be any conflicts (after i disable one of course)?

keep in mind i never used panda before, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    cheers

I am currently using PF with Panda Cloud 2.0 with excellent results. The systems resource usage with these two is quite low and protection is top notch. I would recommend excluding the PF path in Panda as well as allowing and trusting all of the Panda processes in PF.

Here's another vote for PCAV with PF. Running on a Windows 7 64 bit laptop.

thanks a lot both of you.

one more thing though. are you guys using both real time protections, or you disabled one? And if yes, which one you like better? Getting twice as many popups for essentially same thing could get annoying after a while, no? :)

cheers and many thanks again :-*

Panda has a behavior blocker as opposed to a HIPS so there should be no real issues.
