Is there any light virtualization program that allows to set excluded folders and that works with Win8? Unfortunatly Shadow Defender .325 doesnt seem to work anymore This means that i cannot use a D:\ partition to save my files? All partitions are necessarily virtualized?
No, you virtualize C: partition and D: partition is normal. You can put files on D: partition with no problem.
Not working here, maybe because i'm running a dual-boot. The start button is greyed out. I've just re-installed it, seems to be running fine now
Good news. PS: I saw your signature: ~ Nice to see that TTF is running well under Win 8; noticed you are running SandboxIE under Win 8 also. Is SandboxIE just handled by Tzuk now to run in Win 8? Or you run it instead wait for a compatibilization by SandboxIE developer? Anyway is also good to see that TTF is running well with SandboxIE; I use ever this combo in my Win XP and 7. ~ If you want to clarify me, you can do that in your first language... (Google likes to help me...).
Hey majomo, no need to wait, Sandboxie 3.74 is working fine with Windows 8, look at the list of changes for SBIE 3.74 "Support for Windows 8 final RTM build (number 9200). Sandboxie is not compatible with earlier builds of Windows 8". http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?VersionChanges#v_3_74 Bo
Hi bo elam, thanks for clarification about. Another good new to Windows 8 users; I think I'll use Win 7 for a long time. For who likes newest things is a good news indeed... Toolwiz Time Freeze + SandboxIE = Excellent combo to Win XP / Win 7 / Win 8 users.
Toolwiz and Sandboxie are indeed running fine so far. To be honest i really hate Windows 8, it's a total mess. I would also like to keep Win7 and Bodhi Linux (my favorite O.S) but unfortunately i have to think that in a couple of months i will face clients having problems with Windows 8 and maybe some people interested in Ubuntu
Why use sandboxie if running in a virtual environment.? Further research on toolwiz reveals it doesnt protect against rootkits. Not recommended for protection against malware, but just for testing new apps.

I had problems too :/ 1st: After installing Avast in "freeze" mode, in order to test it, my windows didn't boot anymore. I reinstalled Windows. 2nd: After shutdown, I get a error message related with winlogon.exe and a error message with one partition not being recognized, resulting in my computer didn't boot anymore. I restored a clone, and again the same problem occured. I restored the clone once again, but this time I disabled freeze mode, and uninstalled Toolwiz. The computer doesn't show any error and booted normally this time. I also tested the disk for bad sectors and none was found.
Same here! (W7 Home Premium, x64 SP1) I really want to try it again, but the last time damn near bricked my machine. It still resulted in a re-image.
I haven't had any problems using the program but I am getting a Event log ID 6008 error when rebooting after using TimeFreeze. It states that "The previous system shutdown at Time on Date was unexpected". I don't think the error is really an error as it is generated when TTF starts doing its thing. Bo
