Just recently upgraded to Sandboxie 3.74 and it seems as if Firefox is launching much more slowly than with v.3.72. Anyone else experiencing that?

No problem here. I think Firefox is opening as fast as before upgrading.

I haven't noticed any problems with Sandboxie 3.74 and Firefox 15.

I had two problems with v3.74 and Firefox.

    1. It kept saying that the default 48MB for File Migration was not enough, and it kept on increasing it tiny, tiny bit. That was my reason for slowdown. I finally increased it to 500MB.

    2. Internet Download Manager (IDM) was not working within the Sandboxie anymore. The downloads were suddenly outside the Sandbox. Based on Tzuk instruction, I had to remove IDM from the compatibility software list.

I didn't have the above two problems prior to v3.74. They appeared after installing v3.74.

See here for my post #11, 12 and 14:

Forget slowdowns, the Firefox was freezing and then crashing, until I raised the File Migration from the default 48MB to 500MB.

I am not sure if 500MB is too much, but the Firefox is now working flawlessly.

    Best regards,

For me it takes the same time for firefox to start in sandbox as before- very slowly. I was expecting an improvement. No increase in slowdown anyways.

Sandboxie 3.74 (free version) is working very well here on Windows 8 Enterprise x64 + Google Chrome. No issue or slow down. Just need setting tweaks to have one of the best protection on my system..

Notice no difference with this upgrade. FF boots about 2 seconds slower for me with Sandboxie than without it. And browsing after that is no different whether sandboxed or not. Maybe even be a smidgen snappier in fact.
