    I have been trying for the last few days to get a discount code i was promised, but with no luck it's got so bad that i even rang and spoke to someone who said they would email me the code, well i'm still waiting.

    My fee this year has gone up almost 40% and this is how customers get treated, so i'm going to take up my banks offer of free AV and move to kaspersky.

    So i'm going to jump ship next week to kaspersky but that will mean i will be running a machine for about 3-4 days with no AV will it still run (just with old updates) or will it die and fail to work 100%.

    Heads up guys when times are hard try to work with your customers not against us.

    I paid £21.97 a year ago for 3 user 1 year but hunting around UK sites there seems to be very little going on deal wise right now.

    Well here we go 2 days left of cover and still no phone call or email to this issue, at least you can see what contempt they have for customers.

    No reason to go unprotected;

    If you are definitely going to switch to KIS, just install the free trial from here;

    http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=242386

    But IME, once you apply for the activation code it should come through in a couple of hours from Barclays. Renewals are even faster!

    Eset definitely need to review their retail prices/renewal fees; https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=330079

    I'm lucky Blackcat I get Kaspersky via my bank for free, it's just changing AV I have found to be the biggest pain in the rear but given ESET stance on pricing and lack of cust support i'm left with no option now, expires tommorrow, so will take an image and unistall it.

    well dunno about you guys but I just saw a offer on a website 3 PC around $20 and one year compllimentary !

    dunno if eset licenses would work elsewhere in a different county though.

    excellent,time to stock the boxed version ;)

    its valid for 24 months from the date of package and by that time my current eset will run out.

    ok edited the post and posting this link

    great offer as i said earlier,one year of activation free !
    Its boxed verision,dunno if the license is valid only for India.

    Hi All1

    Apologies for delay in responding as I generally deal with UK threads but was on holiday last week. I will private message you on this one but the price hasn't in fact gone up 40% - If you paid £21.97 GBP "new" last year, you would have purchased at highly discounted promotional pricing, I'm guessing Boxed Product through PC World/Amazon ? We no longer sell via PC World and unsure what promo's Amazon are running currently. The RRP "new" like for like eg if ESET Smart Security 1Yr 3X User is double that price and has not changed for a number of years, with the "renewal" pricing being lower than new.

    My concern however is that nobody got back to you and for the lack of customer service I apologise and will look into this.

    As I said, I will private message you with further details.

    Regards
