    Hi,

I can copy any file/folder across my local disk partitions using the default Explorer copy function and ESS does not scan any of them.

Why if I do the exact same thing using TeraCopy, ESS scans every single item I am copying from one location of my HDD to the other?

Since this is unnecessarily affecting the copying speed I wonder if somebody knows a way to exclude/bypass this.

    Thanks for any creative suggestion.

Hi Cudni and thanks for your suggestion.

Before posting here I already tried to exclude (in 2 separate attempts):

    - Teracopy.exe

    and

    - The entire TeraCopy install dir

I rebooted after setting the exclusion in both attempts... That did not help :(

Basically, I Tera-copy a folder from C to D and the CPU usage goes up and the copy process is sluggish.

I copy the same folder with the native Windows Explorer copy function (or with TeraCopy but disabling ESS beforehand) and it copies it in a fraction of the time and without hogging resources.

    Any other suggestion?
