Well Trustport are certainly a good company, it's just that it's a pity that the SSL connection shows up like that on first sight, so you just need the confidence to add an exception. An inexperienced user is unlikely to do this imo.

Screenshots of TP 2013 here: http://www.softpedia.com/progScreenshots/TrustPort-Total-Protection-2011-Screenshot-173938.html

edit: I think that promotion is likely to provide the software in Russian only, is that correct? Or can it be converted to English? They ask a lot of questions, including address

Grabbed one promo key. We'll see how it goes now that VIPRE is gone from my rigs.

I like this program so far. A few issues though.

Stop the antivirus service and it hangs trying to start again.

A false positive with a .dll file from Alienware Command Center.

    AlienFusionDomain.dll

Sent it in, hopefully gets corrected.

Trustport did not pick up on Windows Live as an email client? Seems no way to correct.

    Some sites seem to stall

    example

www.workplacelikehome.com Nevermind. Seems to be loading quickly now.

    Otherwise, seems like a winner.

Also - I could not find anywhere to exclude a file.

Edit- Watching a movie on Netflix and the process TrustPort Antivirus Management Agent seems to take up around 11%.

    Using around 3 to 5 % now.

If you want to exclude files, folders or process, you have to go advanced configuration, after go to antivirus part and click advanced then you can exclude files, etc......

I give a try yesterday and i love the new system tray icon, but this 2013 package is still heavy on resource for me.

    Rules.
