IObit Protected Folder Authentication Bypass

    This article demonstrates a vulnerability to the IObit Protected Folder v1.1 security application, which can be locally exploited by an attacker to gain access to confidential information protected by this application.

    I seen this was posted on iobit forums yesterday
    but its not there today , you would think they didn't want anyone to know ,

    I believe IObit should think about the following:

    "If I sell locks, saying that they will keep you safe, but they can be unlocked without a key (as in this case) and I know about it, but I keep selling them and advertise them as secure, can I be sued by my customers for fraud?"

    LOL it's funny because it's true ;)

    This program is useless anyways save the trouble and boot a live CD.
