I'm surprised there's so little iOS use among Wilders users compared to the mass market. I imagined there would be more due to its strong security. As for me, I use an Android - the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
I love the design of iPhone and iPad, the GUI of iOS but i really hate iOS as I feel myself restricted and tied all around in iOS. You can download and save files freely like Android. You can,t save, delete photos, vidoeos etc easily. You can,t explore the contents of the phone, neither from the phone itself nor through a PC.
And also everything has to be done through iTunes. IMO Apple products are awesome quality wise but everything else sucks, including their iOS.
I use Nokia E63 as well, never had any problems with it and never found a reason to change my phone !
I would say it's because most iOS users are the general people without much knowledge about computers/gadgets however most Wilders here have an inner geek so they would choose Android over iOS any time since you can tinker with it.
I am still rocking android (CM9) sub any google addons. I use F-Droid for apps and everything is open source, I also use DroidWall as a firewall to stay safe and prevent data leaks.
Im using SlimICS and waiting for stable SlimBean. (Although if CM10 gets a stable release first, i might jump in the bandwagon)
I was using SlimBean but gave up on it. Now I am running stock CM10 compiled from scratch thanks to EuroSkank. Runs smooth as... Butter.
I'm running CM 10 Preview for SGS2, really stable. Been using it a couple days, no freezing, no lag, every feature works . . .
The best part of CM is that it supports tons of devices but there are some very very good roms out there also, SlimICS is one of them, although it is based on CM9.
I'm running a stock ICS ROM on my Android phone. One thing that I really like about Android phones is that you can get them so cheaply. My 4.3" dualcore phone run ICS flawlessly with no slowdowns, and only cost me $200.
An iStar V1277. It's a Chinese phone that I purchased direct from the factory that makes it. A really good phone for the price, it's even got the same camera as in your S II.
I voted Android before even getting one lol. Samsung Galaxy Note (maybe should've waited for Note 2 ~year ago, but I like Flash...) ICS 4.0.4 encrypted device. Still haven't rooted it, but managed to find alternatives to work with it. Like ad-blocking, which involves changing WiFi to static FoolDNS, and browser's click-to-play helps. Maybe I should just move from Dolphin to Firefox (with AdBlock Plus). Yes, I tried the APN Android Adblock, but it only seems to work for WiFi with a SIM card and messes up 3G.
You can install flash on Jelly Bean: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30646684&postcount=1
I know, but had bad, buggy experience on Nexus 7. I also know that high-end smartphones are supposed to be next-gen, but Flash is far from dead.
I haven't used Jelly Bean yet. A Jelly Bean update is coming soon for my tablet (and I hope one is coming for my phone too) and I will try flash on that.
