Hellow everyone, I'm new here so bare with me.

I've had Eset Smart Securit since 2009 - great product! Recently, within the past month, I renewed my license for two years on two computers (wife's laptop PC and my desktop PC - license renewal purchased together as a package). Well, my computer appears to be in it's death throws (I suspect motherboard and hard drive related) and I can't even get it to boot up or send signal to my monitor and I've tried two different monitors with analog and digital connections.

So, I may be looking at replacing my PC very, very soon. I'm even considering making a switch to a Mac Mini.

Will I be able to transfer my recently renewed license to a new PC?

Would I be able to transfer my license to a Mac?

If yes to either or both, how would I do that once the replacement computer is purchased?

Thank you all for any help you can provide. :) - John

Yes you will be able to transfer the licence to your new pc. Once you get the replacement just install it using the same user name and licence.

And this would apply for a Mac as well?

    Thanks!

Yes, it does. You can transfer the license as many times as you wish (after changing computer, platform, reformatting, etc). Just reuse the same username and password, so long as you don't exceed the license count (number of computers) for your license.
