Since v2.4.0.10, every boot shows the opening of the 'Crystal Security.exe.config' file from Start Menu\Programs\Startup. This seems to be a bug.



Will there be the inclusion of the "Allow always" as shown for 2.4.0.5, in the following posts?

This would be preferable to the ''Allow once" option, which is my only choice at the moment.


I note the new "Notifications" column that has been included in 2.4.0.11. Also, I see the new "Auto decision" option. If I tick this, will I get less alerts?

Thank you for helping with translation into German language!
Your translation will be available in next version of Crystal Security.
There are coming some new security mechanisms to improve security and stop
malware attacks.

I will write about new security mechanism and idea I have - new implementations for program.

Are these portable versions, or, do they need to be installed? If not portable, will they ever be?

Crystal Security is portable program - just download, unzip and start Crystal Security.exe

Yes, allow always action will be available soon in newer versions.

I recommend to uncheck Safe objects under Notifications, then you
will get alerts only for detected Unsafe and Suspicious files.

I noticed this from your program with Sygate, my Firewall, a short time ago. It started with no action by me.

I am wondering where the 3.4MB(approx.) incoming, goes on my system.

Where is it stored, temporarily? I tried in Documents and Settings > Temp, but I didn't find anything.

It is result of cloud checkup of files/objects.

Download also increase when new update is available.
I will try to decrease incoming data usage via internet.

@ Mops21:

At the moment i don´t give word for the next release date or time
but i hope that in coming week newer and improved version will be then
ready enough to release it.

As promised earlier...your German translation will be available in next version

Yeah, thank you for your interest!

I just implement German language, yesterday i improved
settings file location and updater.

New version will be available shortly

PS. I must exclude some German words and i will send you PM soon about these words. I hope that you can then help me again with your translation.

There is also soon updated whole website with newest information and with new domain + Forum and emails for support.

After the install of v2.4.0.12, System Checkup does not work any longer in XP.
