help (can't open add/remove programs)

    every time i try and go into add and remove it wont let me and comes with a message cant find C;\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32,exe, i have tried eveything i know one site says put in your xp cd-rom which i havn`t got, on google i saw a thread which Franklin sorted out the problem does anyone know how to fix it.

    Go search, type appwiz.cpl

    Double click the shown result. Might open it. Works with both XP and Win 7. Doesn't fix the error, though.

    EDIT: Just noticed you don't have an XP disc. Can't use "SFC.EXE /SCANNOW"
