    Hello,

I am looking for a solution to block duplicating computer in Eset Remote Administrator Console. In company we have 2 ERA servers (primary and secondary). Every nod32 clients have in config 2 administration server.

Clients frequently connect to secondary server and create duplicate entry. I've read that each client connected to ERAS is identified by the following attributes:
Computer Name (client name) + MAC Address + Primary Server

Problem is that I have clients with two entry (Computer name + MAC are identical, Primary Server is different). This solution http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN707&ref=wsf doesn't work.

How to prevent nod32 clients from contact secondary server (primary always works)? Is there any solution for ERA server to detect duplicate computers (Name+MAC) ?

    We have ERA 4.0 and nod32 4.2

    Best regards
    ravs

Primary, and Secondary server profiles are designed for notebook computers that leave the local network, and then connect from outside the network.

It appears that you are asking how to prevent the clients from contacting the secondary ERA server, and that you are saying that the primary server always works.

If you want to to keep this from happening, then consider removing the information regarding the secondary server from the antivirus clients.

Please clarify with us, if this is not what you are meaning.

    Thank you for you answer.

We are using primary and secondary server for security reason (resource redundancy). It's important for us so we can't remove secondary server from antivirus clients.

We configured replication between primary and secondary ERA servers but there is still lots of duplicate clients.

Could you offer us any solution?

    Best regards
