Is there any reprieve for v2.7?

Or is it still scheduled to die on 5/29/12?

End of support for ESET NOD32 Antivirus 2.7

    http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2386

On February 1, 2010, ESET NOD32 Antivirus 2.7 software was removed from ESET’s website and is no longer sold. On May 29, 2012, Virus Signature Database updates and customer support for NOD32 Antivirus 2.7 will be discontinued. ESET’s existing Knowledgebase content and product manuals for ESET NOD32 Antivirus 2.7 will continue to be available

Thanx for the comeback. I thought as much but thought I'd ask anyway. The folks at Avast extended their virus updates for their v4.8 (runs on Win98/ME) for what looks like another year so I was hoping that perhaps Eset might do the same. I don't really want to change from NOD32 to Avast v4.8, but I don't have much choice if I want to keep my Win98SE machine running.

I'll continue to run the current NOD32 on my other machines (XP, Vista, Win7), however.
