I have an unused license of Webroot Internet Security Essentials 2011. Will it upgrade to the 2012 version and, if so, which version?

Yes it will and the upgrade will be WSA-Essentials! Just contact WSA support with your 2011 key and ask them to convert it to a WSA key! https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp?

    To clarify the other versions:

WISE will go to WSA Essentials
WISC will go to WSA Complete
WAV/SpySweeper will go to WSA AV

Well I bought a 2011 SpySweeper w AV Key over the weekend and sent it in to the contact form, and got a reply that I should call for my options. I did and was offered a full price subscription and was asked for my CC info. I explained my situation again and told the rep I wanted to convert to a WSA/AV Key and she said okay and sent me an email with another SS/AV Code that WSA/AV would not accept.

I called again and was told that they are not aware of any converting or of an upgrade path at all.o_O

Not to happy right now and not sure of whom to turn to.

Can you send me a PM with your email address so that I can see where your support conversation is at?

    Thanks!

Just a follow up on my post above about the inability to do the Conversion of a 2011 Code to a WSA 2012 Code. I made contact with "PrevxHelp" and was able to fully resolve the issue in a timely matter and to my complete satisfaction.

I really like Webroot SecureAnywhere and it looks to be a keeper on my system and I look forward to its continued development.:thumb:
