    Hello all,

I had some questions regarding Webroot Secureanywhere Essentials running alongside Privatefirewall:

If I were to use this alongside Privatefirewall, would WSA Essential's firewall augmenter monitoring outbound processes interfere with Privatefirewall also monitoring outbound prcoesses too? Anything else I would have to configure just in case besides allowing exceptions to both programs? Wondered if anyone had issues and just used
    WSA antivirus instead...

    Thanks for your help! :)

    Tookerjeff,

You will be pleased to know that WSA Essentials and PrivateFirewall not only work together, they work FANTASTIC together!! I have been running this combo on two systems (Win7 x64) for several months now and have been very, very happy with this configuration. Putting these two products together required NO setting changes on either product to work properly. :D

I can second that. They really do work well together.Privatefirewall is a superb firewall and in combo with WSA form a near impenetrable line of defense.

    hi superssjdan and kdcdq,

hey, thank you for the info.! :) Yeah, seems to be working out fine so far (I'm trialing WSA Essentials right now btw), and some of the detections regarding application processes are caught by either one or the other so it's neat to see which steps in first.

It's also nice to see in your profile signatures (and others on here as well) what types of programs are used for ideas, etc. I see some members have Malwarebytes real time also which would really hard to knock out.
