    Hi, everybody.

Here's a shot of my FreeBSD 9.0 box with a custom Fluxbox theme.

Here's another shot of the same machine with a different custom Fluxbox theme.

This is another FreeBSD box of mine running Windowlab as a WM and conky. It's only got a 13.6BG HD in it and I'm in the process of converting it over to a dedicated firewall.

Windowlab is about as lightweight a WM as you can get, using less resources than Xclock, but takes some getting used to. It doesn't have a menu like Fluxbox, you right click on the desktop and the menubar appears at the top where you can program launch buttons in, there's no click to focus by window, and you can drag and active window behind an inactive one too.

Here's yet another FreeBSD box showing Windowlab with the default color and how it looks without having right-clicked to show the menubar. That's an old laptop with a 1.2GHz Celeron and 256MB RAM I salvaged so I was going for running with programs that used the minimum resources and still run X.

  24. I don't usually attempt to prettify my desktop these days. But the default GTK3 compatible themes on Debian Sid are an eyesore, and clash with the available Openbox themes... So I decided to see what the internets had to offer. The result was this:

That's Debian Sid with LXDE, Faenza icons, and the Ambience-Crunchy (Blue) Openbox/GTK2/GTK3 theme. Yay.
