Sometimes after installing Winpkfilter(NTKernel's drivers), you need to restart your computer. This isn't required for every install, just the first one on some computers(I've seen it not needed at all). If a restart doesn't fix it, then send me a PM, and we'll work this out.

skudo12, still trying to figure out why its not working for you! I'm going to busy most of the weekend, but I'll try to get the other dev to help you. You can find his email on fireBwall.com, Bryan A. The emails are at the bottom of the main page.

    Hey,

We at fireBwall are looking for a forum for our users, and I was wondering if Wilders could make a category for us? Not sure who to send this to, since I don't know who makes decisions here, so if any mods see this, can they pass it along and/or let me know?

    Thanks,
    bwall

You should PM Administrators like BlueZannetti, LowWaterMark, etc.

To be honest, I don't like it. GUI looks like a hacking tool or keygen. I think you need a dark on light GUI, combination of black and red font color on white, grey or light blue background or something like that.

We are working on some skinning stuff, which right now, is pretty much just changing the color scheme. We'll release themes you can choose between, and a way to make your own. We intend on a light theme, a dark theme, and maybe a few more.

    Hey,

We at fireBwall will sadly not be hosting a forum here at Wilders, but instead, have a forum hosted at http://firebwall.proboards.com

How does this firewall compare to Look N Stop?
How is its inbound packet protection?

Well fireBwall is Open Source. Which means not only is it free, but we show you our source, how it works, and are confident in its effectiveness. I've never used LookNStop, but it looks like a scam to me.

fireBwall blocks inbound TCP connections by default, and based on how you set up your rules in the BasicFirewall module(yes you can write your own modules, letting you filter your traffic exactly how you want to) you can whitelist or blacklist inbound or outbound connections. We support IPv6 as well as IPv4, filtering TCP/UDP/ICMP or down to the IP layer and even on the MAC address level.

We also sport the only ARP Poisoning solution that not only protects your computer from attacks, but will fix the problems created by the attack. We are more than just your usual firewall. Its a leap forward in network security from people who are tired of the usual incompetence that has passed by as "acceptable" in the past.

When you haven't used it, you can't hold the right to say it's scam..
LooknStop is a well praised and used firewall in Wilderssecurity.

Too much arrogance in my opinion. Other firewalls are bad, my firewall is the best. Let's be serious. All firewalls have good and bad points. It's up to the user's preference on what he will use. Your firewall is the greatest and any other firewall developers are incompetents. :thumbd:
