    Hello!

I'm sorry if this is in wrong forum, but I'm not sure where to post this.

I have one folder full of files with .us in the end. I can't delete them or open. System says that they do not even exist and yet there they are.

I hope somone can give me help.

    Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your reply. But I still would like ot ask what exactly is 'Unknown Apple II File'. How to remove it or if it even if dangerous? If I just leave it there and don't pay any attention to these files, would it put my computer to any danger?

    What is your operating system?

If you right click on them and select properties what size are they and what info does it give.

Have you tried to delete them in safe mode ?

Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.

Right click reveals that the size is 0. But just looking at the size in folder it says 2,20 kb. It's type is "file".

Yes I did, but Safe Mode was unfortunately unable to do anything.

I can move the folder, where those files are, to other folders, but not to Recycle Bin, so no deleting it. It just says that the file was not found. While it sits right there on my desktop.

    Give Unlocker a try

    http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/

Also you could try creating a new folder (no name) and drag a file into and and then seeing if it will delete.

Unfortunately folder dropping does not work. And I am old Unlocker lover. :) In this case it says: error due to privileges being missing and sends it to its website. Because my unlocker is not in English it sounds a bit different, but I think it says:
    - What is "Error Debug Privileges"? It means that your Local Security Settings do not allow a Debug Privilege for your profile. Read Microsoft's documentation and set "Debug Programs" rights.
I also went to the site mentioned:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Aa291232
But here I ran head first to another wall: namely Local Security Policy mentioned in the text is not accessible to Windows 7 Home. -_-

    Another dead end unfortunately.

    What about MoveOnBoot?

Have you tried deleting them using another user account?

Or boot from a linux live cd and delete them.

My most sincere gratitude! You have saved me with this program. Complete and total annihiliation of all those several hundred files that refused to go!

    Thank you very much!
