    Hi,
I have an recent imagecopy (on a external HD) made with Paragon backup & recovery 11 (free) and a Paragon rescue kit 11 (free)
I tried to copy the file "Windows" (22.4 Gb) from the image to my laptop.
Problem : I do not know the destination path, first I used the drive E, but the system after 5h replied it could not write the files
Now I tried as destination My computer/E/ but I have still 4h to go to find out if it worked.
    Is there another way ?
    Regards

The folder "Windows" in always on drive C:, the system default drive.

On your laptop it would be the only internal HDD.

After booting the Paragon kit I have following choices :
    - File transfert wizard
    - Boot corrector
    - Undelete partition
    - some more as logs, shut down etc

In Fire transfert wizard I have following sources :
    /Root dir
    /My computer
    /mnt (mounted recources
    /mnt/disk (local disks)
    /media (removable disk)
    CD/DVD drive
    D:\(NTFS,1 on disk 0) recovery
    E:\(NTFS, 2 on disk 0) os
F:\(NTFS, 0 on disk 1) UFSD disk HD-PCU2 = my external HD disk

I don't think you want the Paragon Rescue Kit to restore an image. You need to create the recovery CD from the Backup & Recovery program. You can make it on any machine that has the Backup & Recovery program installed since it is not machine specific. There is a command to build the Recovery Media under Tools.

Boot the recovery CD and select Restore Wizard and follow it.

Thanks I could reinstal a recent image.
Now I have the following problem by restarting :
    file:\Boot\BCD
    Status 0xc000000f
An error occured while attemting to read the boot configuration.
The system required to start from my reinstallation OS DVD, but nothing happened. I got the message :
file in C:\boot is corrupt and unreadable.
Can I do something with the "bootcorrector" on the recovery disk ?
    Regards
