Cool. Have they fixed the really slow scan times of late?

 

I am afraid they did not!!!
While everybody else are using superfast 2nd time scan, I think Vipre is Far behind in this feature!!!Norton started using this technology back in 2010
while Vipre is still not able to use it!!!
I wish they could have solved this problem in latest update!!!

We are working on improving scan times with our next core update which should be going out in a definitions update in the near future. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact time frame for this.

In the meantime, there actually is a Fast Second Scan feature in VIPRE but it is disabled by default. At the moment, this feature is only usable for scheduled scans, although we do plan to implement it as an option for manual scans in a future release.
