Hey, everyone, so I've been getting messages from NOD32 about my license expiring soon, and I don't remember how things worked from past years with NOD32 (long time user here), so I came to ask if the days left are carried over into the next 365 day cycle.

I'm actually just now looking at my email logs and they suggest that indeed my renewal deadline is pretty constant, but if anyone can verify that, I would be very thankful for your help.

(I did try a forum search for this subject, but failed to find anything.)

Yes, the new year is just added to your exsisting license

Generally speaking that's not completely true. It might depend on the policy of the reseller/distributor. I have seen it happen in the past with NOD32-NL (SpicyLemon) more than once that the remaining days of the existing license were not added to the new license. I have posted about it here in the past. But, after having sent an email to NOD32-NL about it, I got it fixed by them. I don't like it that it is not automatically done but that you yourself have to come into action to get it fixed. Last February it happened again to me: again were the remaining days not added to the new license. But this time I did let it go because they had a nice, cheap offer to get a license for three computers and I made use of that offer (although I have at the moment only one computer). When it happens again next year to me, I will protest again.
