    HitmanPro 3.6 is out since December 23, 2011. When running HitmanPro 3.6 it will upgrade the installed 3.5.x to 3.6.

    A new version of HitmanPro 3.6 will be release this week. We plan to roll out the auto upgrade (3.5 -> 3.6) as well but we are still testing.

    Just received it through the native updater. Works great on xp sp3. I had to re-enter my pro code but no biggie. Thanks again for a good job in the war against IT scumbags.

    Hey,

    Just wondering about the update to 3.6? I upgraded today from 3.5 and hadn't activated the trial version. After updating and scanning HitmanPro seems to have disappeared? Was there something that I needed to do?

    Thanks!

    hitman pro is showing 0 files scanned..

    But if i copy that folder to other partition like D: ,, right click scan is working

    This may have been answered before but when right clicking to scan a downloaded file, why does HMP need outbound to Google?

    Code:
    3/3/12 10:56:01    Access network    Permitted
    Process: e:\program files\hitmanpro\hitmanpro.exe
    Target: TCP [Local host : 55606] ->  [74.125.159.103 : 80 (http)]
    Rule: [Network]Any protocol [Local host : Any port] <-> [Any address : Any port]

    Hi, this is not an FP, you used Early Warning Score(Frühwarnsystembewertung) scan. This scan also shows suspect files, not just malicious files. You can identify those files by the blue shield and Unbekannt + score.

    Hi, I think you misunderstood me. I mean that it's not FP in the traditional sense of the word. HMP doesn't say the file is malicious, it says the file is unknown and has some suspicious properties. Since the file is legitimate, there is no problem. If you want HMP to show only malicious files you should use the normal scan and not the early warning scan.

    HitmanPro needs to determine whether it has internet connection so it tries to connect to several 'always-on' websites like Google, Akamai, HitmanPro Cloud, etc.
