Great news.I can confirm the 8.0.1.143 update is now live via the download link included in my original purchase email.Should filter out via the program updater very soon.Happy computing

Unfortunately, the issue of 365 days remaining in my subscription and not being able to create an account has NOT been resolved with the update.

No. I just sent a PM to PrevxHelp since I had eariler contacted him about this problem.

 

Would be nice (regardless of license) to be able to sample pre-release updates in the future...so hope a beta version may continue, who knows?

 

I think he will be busy this week at the RSA show so I think it's best to contact WSA support!

Have a look at your windows temp folder. There may be an executable file to run by yourself... That's what happened to me! If i hadn't thought of this, i'd have stayed with the previous closed beta version. Downloaded but not run automatically....Weird, isn't it?

Is upgrading supported, I.E. can .143 just be installed over a previous version (eg. .95) or does it need uninstalling etc. first? Thanks

 

Yes you can install over top or do a clean reinstall it's up to you!

just click on the downloaded executable and instantaneously click on wsa tray icon to see new version number.....no need to uninstall first......

I am debating whether or not I should install WSA on my netbook now (which I purchased one of those cheap licenses for,) or wait until they resolve the issues such as the import/export issue (if they'll resolve that at all) and also the license day/online console issues.

Another thing weird!: I have a snapshot backup software. When i get back to a previous snapshot where the Closed beta is not yet updated, i uninstall WSA and download the new version from the invite link received by email. This time my beta key is no longer recognized as valid during installation! Fortunately i can return to the snapshot where 8.0.1.143 is installed...
Does that mean that the closed beta download is no longer supported as before?
