Is it just me who doesn't change setup too often :p
I want to try new stuff but I really need speed factor too and norton and eset seems to provide that.

I wanted to try webroot secure anywhere but its bit costly compared to other software( since I get s/w at much cheaper price at market or ebay ).

Safe-Admin project closed : tweaked to perfection a light OS-based setup with blacklist protection, only different :D

All Mac and Unix users telling Windows is weak by design, should try safe-admin, easy root access with strict protection, boots in 28 seconds on an low end E5200 dual core. Office (2003) and Webbrowser (chromium) start within a blink of an eye (<1 sec).

Have said goodbye to Kaspersky Anti-Virus and reconfigured AppLocker. Nothing wrong with KAV as it were, just wanting to experiment a little and survive solely with whitelisting and a good backup anti-malware; in my case, MBAM PRO. I've also set UAC to 'Always notify'.

Turned off AppLocker as it was proving to be somewhat of a ball-ache. I test a lot of software (especially portable apps) and don't fancy running things as Admin, or creating a temp rule each time.

The other big change is I've installed the latest avast! 7 RC. So far, I really like its performance and overall look. The new 'Cloud Services' are certainly a nice touch which add even more value to perhaps the best free AV going.

I wonder when will HDD become dirt cheap again . . . :cautious:

Although my signature has a build in the last 2 months i've been using only EAM xD
