What's indicated is the ESET exe file properties ?

 

yes egui is showing ESS

 

Looks like problem comes from the way they use Product identification ;-(

 

Love how well this program works for years now. I'd use portable version, except it can't open updates when an existing (sandboxed) Firefox windows is open.

 

Does the problem occurs only when FF is sandboxed ?

That's great but here's 1 query: Although I don't tick the option "Check for new versions of SUMo at startup". it still checks whenever I launch the program manually and when there's an update, it'll pop out a message. While that's a nice feature to remind users to update, I find the updates frequency to be at it's peak now...and since I have added SUMo to the programs list itself, it's not that difficult to spot an update.

In short, here's a request: Can I have the option to set SUMo NOT to check itself and pop out message whenever I launch the program manually?

What's the reason for rejection (displayed after "Scan") ?
