    Hello all,

Since 3-4 weeks I can see that every day the definition update check date gets incremented but the definition number does not change.

Right now its 3.2-b3.66430 (2/5/2012) its on 66430 from many weeks but every day the date increases and even when i do manual update by clicking on update now it says definitions are up to date.

Is there a issue in my system which you guys can help me off with.

    Hi prerakg,
Thank you for the heads up. The team has investigated the report and found the following:

    1. The Virus Guard signatures are updating properly
    2. The incremental is NOT updating properly

This means you have the most recent signatures, but the actual signature "number" (incremental) is not being updated as it should be in the client status display. The team is working on getting that fixed so you should see the incremental update to the proper number later today or tomorrow depending on when you check it.

    Hello Mike,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I thought there was some kind of malfunction or issue in my pc.

I just tried to update the same now and even while it is connected to internet it says and gives error in red.

So i believe that the team is working on the same and that is why im not able to update it now. Will get back after the update will happen and I can see the version change in the definition update.

Thank you for the support. :thumb:
