    I still don't understand their scoring system for the life of me...it seems odd that MS Security Essentials was ranked so low when their numbers were better than some of the ones higher for protection.

    Avira and Avast did poorly in comparison with the top tier applications.

    oh my god norton internet security 2012 and avast free i dont like the scores

    good job kaspersky and bitdefender

    also eset smart security not good scores o_O why o_O

    i wish bitdefender will be light on the computer on 2013

    thanx

    i will see what i must to do coz really i will change my antivirus after this results

    Bitdefender AV Plus was surprisingly not heavy on my netbook when I trialed it earlier this week. They must have been busy updating the program to make it lighter.

    Everyone should give it another try. ;)

    what's the ram in your netbook?....memory usage of bitdefender av?....how many processes of bitdefender av run in the background?......how's the on-demand scan speed....what's the memory usage when scanning?......

    3) I think three or four, but no more than five. I'll have to reinstall it.
    4 & 5) I will be sure to run a scan after installation! :argh: You see, I am one of those lazy, wild critters that disable scheduled things and rarely run scans. :D

    xandros, I thought Norton Internet Security 2012 scored well and it did perfect each time in the Real-World Testing.

    i will give eset smart security 5 a test , i install it and i will try it

    i remove eset smart security 5 coz some times its freez my computer i dont know why !!!! not all the time some time every 5 or 6 hours my computer coming slow for 1 minute or 2 minute then its working normal, thats why i remove it

    also i remove avast free from my ( Netbook ) and i try norton internet security 2012 on the netbook

    i go back to norton internet security 2012 again on my laptop

    i will try and see where its will take me this anti virus ?
