aww....... no fried bacon using kaspersky av?.......um...how's with emsisoft internet security then?.....slow enough to get some scrambled eggs ?...oh and what's the memory usage of kaspersky av and eis?........

 

forthose you mention they are low in memoy usage
i noticed that kasperky thinks mbam is malware or something it deleted it

i didnt like Kaspesrsky too much so i went back to my killer and permanent combo Emsisoft Internet Security Pack

 

Back to my much faster security set up no more KAV trial. Did I mention I am much faster again.Do I need anything else maybe, but do I care not really.

I had the same KIS slowdown...not terrible but I like light. It's a good program....

 

This week I tried Kaspersky and Bitdefender, but now am running PandaCloud until something lighter comes along. Which will probably be going back to running no AV at all.

Yeah it's hard to justify taking it off. PandaCloud is light-weight, easy to use, has a good detection rate and low false positives.
I usually just have an on-demand AV installed to check downloaded files, but this isn't any more noticeable than an on-demand AV.

 

Switched to an "oldie but goldie" Avast! free and Threatfire setup (hope efficient as well )+Rising FW and Sandboxie.

Well,i think so.As a second layer of protection for me Threatfire still does a pretty good job.

 

Have you tried AVG? In my particular case it's the lightest AV I've ever seen .

btw: does anyone know if the license permissions of appguard are similar to sandboxie, with sandboxie you can use your license on as many pc's as you like, you just have to own the computers the license is running on...Can I do the same with my appguard license?
