WSA 2012 detected Panda Antivirus 2012 setup as a Virus?

    Currently i was downloading the setup file of Panda Antivirus & suddenly WSA gave me the message. Check the sceenshot below!! Can anybody explain to me?

    Don't worry too much about that. It did the same thing for Kaspersky's installation file when I tried to run it.

    Report it as a false positive on the Webroot website as outlined in the thread below by Prevxhelp and they'll fix it quickly if you post the scan log contents.

    one of the 2000+ FP in VB100 I guess :p

    and its supposed to be compatible with existing AV . The engineers really need to fix these FP.

    If you can report it via the links in this post: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=314555 we'll correct it very quickly :)

    The false positives in the VB100 test were not representative of what our customers see (clearly we aren't producing thousands of FPs on every PC) and we're working to correct the condition they came into for the next test cycle.
