Thank you buckslayr, we are finally getting there! G1111 I think I see what you mean now. On the tray icon, you have to right click twice for it to bring up the menu? We will fix that in the next release.

One of the computers that I'm running VoodooShield on is having an issue where VS is not automatically starting on boot-up. Any suggestions?

I have to start VoodooShield manually after I connect to the internet because it wants to check the license right away. Maybe the check could be delayed till first browser start? I would like to have protection on start but have to connect to the internet to enable it.

buckslayr, do each of your computers have its own email and password for registration? If not, I would try that first. What operating system is running on that computer? And of course, I would check the settings screen to make sure it is set to start with windows. Can you check msconfig to see if it is set to start?

Sevens, yeah, that is annoying, we are working on a solution, we might do what you are suggesting. Either way, we should have it fixed in the next release which should be about a week from now.

It's on a Win 7 32-bit system. I think that the email address may be the problem. I removed the previous beta from this system and just installed the latest version last night. I think it might be an email address problem? Can I go ahead and register again with a new address?

Hey VoodooShield, resetting the whitelist has fixed my svchost problem. Working much smoother now. I still have to double right click to open the menu.

ellison64, that is really odd. Do you have another computer you can try it on? We have no way of knowing if other users in the UK are having problems unless they contact us, so hopefully we will hear from someone. Thank you for helping us troubleshoot this problem.

buckslayr, yes, I would try a different address. Did you get a chance to see if it is active in msconfig?

jerick70, good deal! Yes, the right click problem is a bug that we did not find until we released it, but we will have that fixed in the next release, which should be within a week.

hi, can you be more specific? This definitely does not sound like something VoodooShield would do. You should not have problems, but if you do, you should be able to exit and uninstall. It uninstalls very clean.

Any thoughts to an expert mode to edit white list (add/remove individual items) and overall password protection so children cannot tamper with settings (allow malware to run by switching to training mode, etc). Password would be required to switch modes, turn off, reset white list, etc.

G1111, yes, our next release will have all of those features and a few other ones, it should be ready within a week. I really like your idea of requiring a password to change modes, thank you!

Looking forward to it.:thumb: Password protection should be optional for those who need it.

If anyone outside the USA is having troubles registering, can you please try to register one more time? It will probably not register, but it will help us figure out why it is not registering. Can you also send your email address that you used for registration and the country you are in to support@voodooshield.com.

    Thank you!

One thing I found that if you can't register is changing the Date format! In Canada it's D/M/Year on Win 7 so I had to change to M/D/Y and it registered fine after that, then if I change back it becomes unregistered! :doubt:
