Is Kaspersky Internet Security worth it over Kaspersky AV?

    they are same for AV component.

    If you are comfortable with Win firewall, then go for AV and save few bucks.

    In KIS you have the application control (HIPS) which especially for advanced users could be very powerful.

    SafeRun you can also use on x64 - some restrictions because of patchguard, but you can use safe-run for single applications.

    Yes, I agree there. KIS firewall is better than the built in Windows firewall. Some firewall settings has to be done to be truly effective. The HIPS is okay and effective. Give it a try, let it grow on you. Had encountered KIS 2012 through a friend this early December and now am trying it for myself. Working great here :)

    If KIS firewall still has the banner blocker then I would definitely with that over KAV.
