Any iPhone 4S users please? poor battery life?

We bought an iPhone 4s couple of weeks ago and seems it has very poor battery life. The standby time after a full recharge is less than 24 hour( on default settings, screen brightness 50% that is also default).

I am going to contact the seller to claim for the warranty but just curious if any one has bought an iPhone 4S. What,s the battery life on your device?

Poor battery life on iPhone, Droid and others has been attributed to a number of issues. The iPhone battery issue is more unique to Apple devices than others. Some Mobile providers (Samsung of note) are offering larger duration battery packages. In the case of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus users get a much longer duration battery, at a cost, with less cosmetic value since it alters the overall way the phone appears.

The Register cited issues in the article as some of the issues causing iPhone battery drain.

 

i got my phone in october and i noticed the battery didn't seem to last but i had the phone replaced at the apple store because of an unrelated issue (camera would not work) and the battery issue is non-existant

 

I'll be getting my new iphone 4s in a week or two so i'll let ya know what my experience is like. Hopefully its not like some of the horror stories i have read from a few people lol.

Almost 600 pages of complaints. Apple has previously acknowledged a problem, but has not commented/responded in almost a month. Not a good situation.

 

Most of the reviews i've looked at say the battery life is not quite as good as the iphone 4. From looking at the specs the 4s has 200 hours standby where the 4 has 300. Maybe its ios5 or maybe its the new a6 chip, who knows?
