After running just AppGuard,EMET at maxiimum and windows firewall, anything additional just feels clunky and just suck ups more resources.

I've always used an AV in the past but i've never had a single virus alert, so in the back of my mind an AV was always something that was just taking up resources, so I wanted to go with a HIPS-only setup for a change, and so far i'm loving it.
Accompanied by regular backups, just in case :p
And I also just added MBAM :D

it sure does....eating only 3mb ram......whereas mbam takes a luscious bite of 103mb...and it's not even a full av.....

hmm.....that will do.....but why don't you try panda cloud av or wsa......they doesn't suck on resources much and even catch some malware.....av will complement your setup, double your protection and better ...you'll not even know it's there......

    great :thumb:

    Real-time:
    Sandboxie, Malware Defender, EMET

    On-demand:
Hitman PRO, Malwarebytes AM, Acronis TI, Autoruns, CCleaner, Cobian Backup, Keepass, MRU-Blaster, Process Hacker 2, Recuva, Secunia PSI, TrueCrypt, Virustotal uploader, OpenDNS DNS

I've settled down with this configuration and won't be changing it in this year anymore. I probably won't change it much at all. Well, until moving to 64 bit OS :)
