Can someone please let me know how light Rollback RX is on memory/CPU? Is it possible to disable any of the services/set them to manual?

    Thanks :)

    Hi Adam,

The only noticeable impact on performance is during startup/restart where RB's pre-boot console loads and sometimes creates a scheduled snapshot/optimization. That can add anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds to what it would otherwise take your system to bootup. Once up and running there is no noticeable performance hit.

With RB the only things you can elect to do manually is taking new snapshots and running snapshot defrags. If you choose not to take automatically sheduled snapshots and snapshot-defrags your system will boot faster as it will just take several more seconds than it now takes to load RB's pre-boot console. But I don't think it's a very good idea to not schedule automatic snapshots (I do that at the start of each day)!

    Hth,
    Scott

Glad to hear that Adam. Just 'holler' if you have any questions.
