It doesn't look like Outpost. The firewall in the suite is probably their own product, it was already available as standalone product 10 years ago.

I just want to clarify one thing... Norman DNB edition is NOT!!! a special edition that norman offer to the regular user. It WAS a version made specialy for the the biggest bank in Norway, DNB. And they did previously offer this version to theire customers. They have choosen to go away from norman and DNB is now offering McAfee Internet Security 2012 for theire customers instead. Cant blame them either!

You'd be infinitely better off just using Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Norman...lol.

I have been useing Norman Internet security for quite a while and it has always done a good job. I have no complaints with it. And I do have a lot of experience with security products, I am not making this statement without some knowledge.

Yes, both the on-demand and on-access scanner automatically use the sandbox.

I am relatively happy with Norman Security Suite. I had one recurring glitch, and this was system slowdown on manual update. But it appears to me there is no slowdown whatsoever with automatic update. So I am just avoiding the manual update, and everything appears fine.

By the way, Norman just made available an online backup. Could someone please give me some general info on how this works? I have been negligent about backing up important files. With Norman, and I presume others, it looks like it will automatically check and update any files that have been uploading to storage when you log in. That is, it will automatically check to see if the machine version of files matches those uploaded. Is this correct?
