    Hi

When I installed Bufferzone Pro 4 on my 64bit Win 7 PC I found that I could not subsequently boot into Windows. I have Comodo Firewall plus D+.

I sent Trustware an email and received the following response:

    "Thank you for testing BufferZone.
At this point BufferZone is not compatible with Comodo.
This issue will be solved in future versions."

Whilst looking through this thread I note that at least one member uses Comodo and I do not see any complaints about compatibility of Comodo & Bufferzone.

Anybody had a similar problem to mine?

    Terry

When I was testing bufferzone, I didn't have comodo installed. I'll have to install both together and see what happens.

I had both F-secure client security and after that CIS. On both occasions I could not boot into Windows after I restarted my virtual operating system. What I could try to do is to give BZ execution privileges under D+.

    Thanks.

I am quite disappointed by new BufferZone 4 version. It took some time to work on this new version, but what exactly is new there? I take it for granted that every new version of any software contains minor improvements/bug fixes - but can you please tell me major changes? 64-bit compatibility? C'mon, it's not the thing they had to work on for the last two (?) years...

We'll have to wait and hope that they put a change log out.

all newly created unknown files are turned red and forced to run inside bufferzone...:thumb: :thumb:
picture shows malwares which i extracted from an archive...
only problem is if i rename a new file created it will not be isolated...

    overall its superb :thumb: :thumb:
    also free

Judging by those screenshots, it looks like the product is at release candidate stage and no longer just a beta.

I had never looked at BZ before, but when possible I'll give it a run. I took a look at its features, and besides all others I liked one, Take a "snapshot" of the Virtual Zone for one- step restore

Unless there's more to this feature than what this descriptions makes me believe, I could, say, configure my web browser with xyz settings, take a snapshot, and then execute the browser every time with those settings, even after flushing the virtual zone.

I hope I'm correct in this assumption? If I'm correct, this is actually great, because I believe one could have different browser profiles for Internet Explorer, for example?
