    I noticed some bugs...

    - no way to open Firefox - I always get an system error of Firefox and tooltips:
AntiNetworkSpy blocks setting hooks for processes firefox.exe (PID=3712)
AntiNetworkSpy blocks setting hooks for processes dwwin.exe (PID=3044)

    - Tab "List of monitored actions": Action No 45 is not described
    ---------------
    edit:
It not depends of settings: there are no differences between automatic high or low level of protection...it was the same after disabling "Firewall" module o_O

So, being a newb, I take it this expands upon Spyshelter as we now know it. And which I just bought a week ago. o_O

No. I checked with them and they said it is going to be a separate product. They did say that they will give discounts to existing SpyShelter Premium users.

I am monitoring this thread with high interest. If SpyShelter's firewall turns out to be as good as its Anti-Keylogger/HIPS component, it could be on my "buy now" list.

    How's their Firewall?

it is plain simple and i believe it work in a similar maner as their hips engine for example if you select in hips engine to ''allow microsoft'' it will allow microsoft and block the rest,it is in alpha so i prefer to wait, also you can dig inside and make your own set of rules;)

Somebody knows why the antinetworkspy module is not available anymore in the firewall version?

    @guest
ANS module isn't "not available"...it's still working, now it's integrated with FW module and only "invisible" ;)

I don,t know why they don,t improve theie pop up alerts. Most confusing alerts in any HIPS I have seen so far. They can present the same info in a more easier format just like Comodo FW and some other HIPS. One must not be in need to read all the alert.

I like the combo of auto allowing signed programs and restricting all my internet facing software (overrides the auto allow). Have not seen many pop-ups in normal usage. Also the option to restrict USB is great.

Maybe suggest some better reporting formats to the authors and start playing with in in this combo (as a replacement of Comodo + GeSWall)

Would be interested to see your results :thumb:

or just allow microsoft sign programs and block the rest

Actually i don,t auto-allow signed applications on my system.

SS looks good and I hope they will improve it though I find it difficult to play with it due to shortage of time/ interest at the moment.
