    Whilst they are both good at protection, Bullguard falls on repair.

    Clearly they are putting more importance in the "AV-Test reference test" than the "Real-World Testing". Maybe it is because of the sample size.

    F-Secure = 100, 98, 100, 100, 100, 100 = 6.0
    Symantec = 100, 100, 100, 98, 100, 100 = 5.5

    Be mindful, you cannot compare these current anti-virus tests to the past ones as these ones were performed on Windows XP and the former were done on Windows 7.

    Win 7 has more self-protection and more restrictions on its own when compared to Win XP. Thus, results from a platform to another may vary.

    Thanks

    I disagree with that because the 2012 version is very light , the the 2011 version wasn't that light so they did a great job with the 2012 version.

    Greats,

    The previous quarter they were tested on Windows 7. The next quarter will most likely be on Windows 7.

    Well that's good to know.

    Im surprised about Avira's repair rating (being good) and Eset's (being not so good). Its been the other way around im my experiences.
