    Hi,

This is a long lasting issue I think. If memory serves right here, I got this problem since firefox version 4.

Ok, here I'm gonna post some screenshots:

As you can see, when the Menu Bar is checked, the display of firefox tabs is normal. No problems at all.

    menubar checked.png

But when I uncheck the Menu Bar in firefox, which is what I usually do when I setup firefox on my system, the display of tabs becomes abnormal.

    menubar not checked.png

Tabs in those screenshots are the same. Anyone has the same issueo_O?

    OS: xp sp3
    Firefox: 8.0.1
    DW: 3.16

    My best regards,
    Tyler

I had similar Tab Problems with Google Chrome.

I'm using Aurora Firefox Beta Latest and haven't had any problems.

    Hi,

Do you also have DefenseWall on your system?

I'm gonna try Aurora and see what's gonna happen. Thanks.

Edit: Problem still exists with Aurora. I think the problem is on DW's side. Hope there can be an option to turn off the indicator of window tile.

If you are convinced that DW is the cause of this, please post your concerns here, where Ilya can address it properly.

This happens because DefenseWall modifies untrusted processes's windows title and FF can't handle it properly.

I do want to post there, but I've registered thousands of times, no luck for me to log in successfully.:doubt:

Another reason I posted here is because I knew Ilya would come here and look around.:D

Hi Ilya, dear sir, thanks for your reply. I received an email from your support team says the issue is totally on FF's side. Sorry I thought your DW was the one to blame.

Is the issue known to Firefox team? If not, any chance you can add an option to turn off the indicator of window tile? Thank you very much.

    1. I have no idea if FF team aware of it, but I suppose, they don't.

    2. Theoretically, it's possible, but I would prefer to have the issue solved on FF side. :)
