I have recently bough an iPad2 for my wife. I was in favor of Asus Transfomer but she wanted iPad2.

I want to transfer many files( pdf, images, saved web pages) from my PC to iPad and really I am starting to hate iPad now. I feel myself contained, prisoned and tied within the file transfer limitations of iPad. :thumbd: If there was an option to return, I would had surely returned it. Sadly no such option here.

Just wanted to ask if there is an easy and straight forward way to tranfer files from my PC to iPad( I don,t want to buy an app for this very basic function).

Sorry in advance that I still have not bothered to google it. I am in hurry and thought there might be some iPad users here.

    Thanks a lot

I use USB Disk Pro to do this for my iPhone, there is a version for the iPad ( paid & free). You still need to tranfer the files using iTunes, but it does allow you to transfer files from your PC to the iPhone/iPad. It isn't perfect. You still need to create folders within the app, then manually shift files to the folder you want after you transfer them to the root folder inside the app. Have a look in the app store... there are a number of apps that will do what you want.

Try iNas, perhaps it will help you.
You can also use team viewer for iOS which allow file transfer.

I use a program called copytrans to transfer files to my iPad. It has a free and paid version available. The free version works well enough for me for doing simple file transfers. I haven't really looked at what the paid version has to offer.
