Shadow Defender along with Sandboxie was a great combination and it still might be. But, considering the status of Shadow Defender, we cannot know for sure it's protecting against the latest threats since Shadow Defender hasn't been updated in a long while and isn't developed any more. There might be better options than Shadow Defender to go with these days.

I'm a proud owner of Shadow Defender licenses, but I cannot trust it anymore since it was taken over by fraudulent people... god knows if the latest stable .325 was even valid.

I've used it for a couple years and never had a problem resource wise. Of course Look N Stop is the ultimate Firewall for lightness. I have a license for that one too...

    Paranoid mode IS THE BEST!

All "unsolicted INBOUND traffic blocked" (@ least on my "paranoid" setting)

You cant get better than "All UNSOLICITED INBOUND TRAFFIC BLOCKED"!!

The Microsoft Windows Integrated Firewall does an excellent job of this.

Anxious to hear what you think of new Bufferzone. Thinking of giving it a try.
