Without knowing SHA1 of those files it's impossible to check their status and tell why they are evaluated as risky.

The same is happening with xpsp3 too,as of today well the last update , and the hips sucks big time it blocks several windows processes, services.exe and winlogon from deleting registry values or modifying the state of another program, it's a joke this version from the start has been and still is well and truly borked,

And so far eset have failed to resolve these issues, also even after i added the rules to allow the names things in hips,it ignores those rules o_O

and at least we should be able to disable the hips module without loosing the self protection of the rest of eset, BTW this install of eset is the 3rd time version 5.0.94.0 as the previous install for no obvious reason suddenly started causing my system to lock up totally requiring powering off the pc risking data corruption!!!!

    Hi Eset
This is my first post on this Forum,so please be gentle I am no Super user. This morning when I switch on my laptop I checked live grid status on running files. This laptop has not been in use, and on the net for the last 8 days, so I was very surprised to see a lot of red dots, for files there was green a week ago. Is there a problem with Livegrid? I have runned a scan with Emsisoft (usb) and Hitman pro Build 131 , every things came out ok. I have even fetch a drive image from Paragon and after a while files there has been flagged green was receiving a red dot. Please advise me to how I should react to this situation.

    Thanks...

I'm sure there's a major meltdown with the live grid. The reason more people aren't complaining is that I doubt many people ever look at it. I certainly don't

quite possibly most don't have a clue that its even there, lol, but if we where all to scan is eset going to move or delete these things also ? i know that the hips module was blocking some clen windows processes/services from deleting or changing some everyday things, things that it does without issue when the hips beta module is disabled

Wow... wish I hadn't looked at the sysinspecter results. According to it about 40% of the files listed are either "9:Risky" or "unknown" .. ? My entire video card software results are marked as 9:Risky

I really don't understand what this all means. Can someone explain... Thanks

yeah fixed here too now :)
I'm a little concerned if it thought they were high risk why didn't it give a message or take any action?
