Modern Warfare 3 - no prompting for rule creation?

    I have ESS version 5.0.93 set to Interactive Mode on Win 7 x64 w/ all updates.

    I've just installed Modern Warfare 3 on my PC and loaded up the multiplayer but it cannot connect.

    I disabled my software firewall and the game can connect fine. Clearly there's something going on with ESET - it's not even prompting to create a rule when I attempt to connect when the firewall is enabled.

    what can be causing this?

    I just enabled blocked connection log and got the following:

    24/11/2011 19:21:05 Communication denied by rule 192.168.0.2:137 209.170.124.209:137 UDP Block NETBIOS Name Service requests System

    Well I manually added the iw5mp.exe executable as a rule set to locally allow tcp/udp both ways and it was able to connect.

    I'm still not happy that I didn't get an automatic prompt. One of my rules is clearly interfering but it's not one I've configured personally.
