Toolwiz Software was named BTOWS Software some months ago. All Toolwiz app. were BTOWS programs before (e.g. Toolwiz Time Freeze was BTOWS Time Freeze).

Toolwiz Time Freeze works under 64 bits systems; it's FREE and is a lightweight virtualization program that keeps system drive virtualized until PC'reboot.

I installed the latest version, interface is very beautiful, is a big company 's products, compared with CCleaner , found the Cleanup function is powerful more than CCleaner, scan more faster, very strange, but CCleaner is old products and famous in the world, why? Toolwiz's tool function include too many tools. And the virtual safe functions seems very strong, I can't use, ask for everyone about this software 's view, if everyone feel good, I assured to use.

On their site there is certified by softpedia logo, but none of their apps are on softpedia.
I don't use anti-malware apps so I can't test them, although they seem interesting.

I tried to install Time Freeze on SD virtualization :) No problem to install, but problem with running TF...it needs restarting system to work properly...I didn't so and I had only inactive main window. One thing I noticed...features are very similar to Wondershare Time Freeze v.1.

I also installed the Toolwiz time freeze function, installation finished then needs to reboot the machine, because have the driving device. It contains 2 functions, one is that turn off the protection and save all the changes, this will take several mins to save the changes to your real system . The step didn ' t restart . One is that turn off the protection and drop all the changes, this will restart your system to drop all the changes in the virtual mode, the step need to restart

    Hi:

There is clause in their agreement which maybe scary?

I tried ToolWiz Time Freeze earlier today and it appears for all the world to be Wondershare Time Freeze rebranded.
I also downloaded ToolWiz System Care and while both applications work, I prefer Comodo Time Machine version 2.6.138262.166 for snapshot virtualization because it is far more versatile and (for me) works perfectly.

ToolWiz System Care is interesting, but for something of it's ilk, I prefer Kingsoft PC Doctor.

Still, in the case of ToolWiz Time Freeze, it's nice to have a freeware app of it's kind that works in a 64 bit environment (assuming the claim is true).

    Tested all its applications:

Toolwiz BPassSafe: password protection/generation/store. Few features right now, do not integrate with browsers or show in system tray.

Toolwiz BSafe: encrypted container (volume/file) generator and manager. Do not seems to integrate in Windows Explorer (right click, open on double click, etc.). Similar to container generator of TrueCrypt with very little options/features.

Toolwiz FileRecovery: scans and restores deleted files. Very few options compared to Recuva.

Toolwiz SmartDefrag: extremely minimalist system defrag. Can't test the efficiency. Lack of any features (file defrag, boot defrag, interface, etc.).

Toolwiz GameBoost: stop/disable, start/enable windows services and features to reduce resources consumption. Works at it says. The final performance will depend on the computer itself. Allows customization (if I remember correctly).

Toolwiz Care: GUI and collection of all above programs + registry cleaner (allows backup/restore) + file junk and temporary cleaner + process manager + startup programs manager + privacy cleaner + etc. Seems a powerful program with a lot of advanced options/features. Seems promising.

Toolwiz BHORM: (BHORM = Hibernation Once Resume Many) allows the computer to restart always at the same hibernated status. I can't test as Virtualbox firmwares does not allow hibernation to test. Seems to work only in XP as far I could understand.

Toolwiz TimeFreeze: the better and unique program that I could found (freeware). Works very well. Stable, secure. All the system was restored as before (files, folders, installed programs, windows registry, software updates...).

So, if you want to test software (that does not require a boot to be installed), it surely worth a try.

It doesn't inspire me either when i go to the official site to download an app and the download link points me to CNET, but at least their installer is crap-free for now

Yes that is totally unacceptable to me, I would not use the software under those terms of usage.
