As far as the eye could see the clam blue sky was thinly vailed with white transparent clouds allowing the slightly
diminished golden sunlight to brighten anything in it's path. The air was warm filled with the brush of an tepid
sustained breeze signaling something was about to happen in the endless sky.

People from all around the World became aware of the change that was unfolding before them. Some of their software
Programs started to function differently than tradition had taught them, and the Internet was now referred to as
The Cloud. Their Software Programs were now starting to operate from an external power outside of their computers
storing little or no information and files on their Hard Disks. Installing Software Programs was almost instant.
This caused some confusion and fear for most people on Planet Earth. The older generation of the Human Race on
Planet Earth cautioned everyone that their computers can become infected from The Cloud and not work properly
afterwards. When the Old Folks claim about Computer Infections from The Cloud became an accepted fact the people on
Planet Earth named the Infections from The Cloud, Computer Viruses.

Day became night and night became day over and over again. People on Planet Earth started to loose their fear of
this external power and named it Cloud Technology. The name of the external power quickly caught on and everybody
was talking about it, but no one really used it or inovated it to any great extent. Day became night and night
became day over and over again.

Then one day the winds started to increase in velocity erasing the thin white vailed sky to an warm blue. The people
on Planet Earth were now more comfortable with the changing sky and external power and named it Sky Blue. In spite
of all this serenity and comfort people on Planet Earth were still afraid of The Cloud because of Computer Viruses.
The Cloud was cluttered with Web Pages, News, and Chat about the changing landscape of the sky. People were also
frustrated because their computers were still valurnable to infections from The Cloud. Day became night and night
became day over and over again.

Then in some point in time, no one really knows WEATHER it was night or day, an group of geniuses from an security
company named Panda Security published on their Web Site an Free Download of an small Software Program called
Panda Cloud Antivirus that claimed to help protect and clean Computers from Computer Viruses from The Cloud.

The Panda Security Server Logs indicate that one of the Old Folks was the first to Download and Install the new
Panda Cloud Antivirus. Panda Cloud Antivirus cleaned the Old Timmers Computer of all Computer Viruses and protected
the Old Timmers Computer from any further infections from The Cloud. The Old Timmer was so happy that the Old Timmer
spread the news to all family members and friends. Those family members and friends Downloaded and Installed Panda
Cloud Antivirus and were so happy that they spread the news to their family members and friends. The good news was
spreading throught the entire neighborhood, friends were telling friends, family members were telling family members
and strangers were telling strangers. Coffee Shopps, Chat Rooms, Social Networks, Newspapers, Magazines, Emails, the
good news eventually spread throught the entire World.

The people on Planet Earth were now for the first time enjoying The Cloud with little or no fear of their computers
becoming infected with Computer Viruses from The Cloud because of the protection provided by Panda Cloud Antivirus.
Day becomes night and night becomes day over and over again. Just like George Harrison sang "All Things Must Pass"
Now the threat landscape on The Cloud has changed again and is more severe than ever.....What are we to do now?

Hey.....wait.....now there is Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.0! Day will become night and night will become day over and
over again.....I wonder who will be the first to Download and Install Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.0?

I'm confused. Is Panda Cloud 2 out, or at least the beta?

Did Panda alert you about Windows firewall and tell you to turn it off or did it do it for you?

It's not out yet. I think the title of this thread is causing a lot of confusion.

In reality, this thread probably shouldn't have been created, as there already is one for Panda 1.9. That's where most these comments really belong.

Sure. I guess maybe the 1.5 and 1.9 threads were getting cluttered.

very confusing thread name. Panda Cloud 2.0 doesn't exist yet. maybe you should create a topic titled "Panda Cloud 3.0", just in case.

Long time listener, first time call.......nevermind that. :) I am a newbie with newbie knowledge.

Great forum and content. My NIS subscription ends in less than a month. And I am looking for something a bit more lightweight than NIS 2012. Which I think has gotten heavier in the past few years.

This looks interesting. I'm gonna DL the beta tonite and give it a go. So the beta also has a firewall component. Is there anything else that might be missing that I might want to add that will not drag my system. I do a lot of surfing for research and such and have been caught with trojan security center malware a couple of times while NIS remained silent. There is so much stuff mentioned here it can make your head spin. Or can I feel confident with just Panda 1.9 running. Of course I know it is still beta but are all the necessary pieces there?

Here's some test reports from AV-TEST.org which has been testing for 15 years. BitDefender did very well, but there's too many reports that it slows PC's way down. These are their latest tests and were for Panda 1.5. Panda had the same detection as Avast and better repair ability, although kind of low at 10th best of the AV's.

    Re: Panda Cloud BETA 2.0

    hahaha! true.
Why not changing thread's name @trjam? It would be benefical.

All in all looks very promising, I'm waiting for v2 stable release. Got a couple of Pro licenses so I'll be able to keep the FW.
    Can we have screenshots?
