Yes If I return to a AV then EAV or ESS would be my choice,Simply because it always functioned well for me and in most cases gets along nicely with other security apps.IMO its a good choice.:thumb:The handsom Gui dont hurt either.

    +1

ESS has always been good to me as well. Running it on two different machines with no problems. Well, except for the GUI resize issue. :D

Back finishing my trial of WSA Antivirus again. I have 20 days left and really like this programs performance. Both Panda Cloud and WSA run so light it's like their not there...:thumb:

No why would it impact the browsing speed? :)

I know that you had issues with your browsing speed while using WSA, but that was likely due to incompatibility problems of some sort.

Now have Internet Explorer, Firefox and Thunderbird sandboxed, with Firefox allowed direct access to cookies and automatic deleting of sandbox content when the sandbox is inactive enabled.
Do you have any other useful tips for my sandboxing setup? :)

I removed Malware Defender and added Eset Antivirus. Changing whitelisting with blacklisting to see how fares new version of this great AV.

Yes I know. But it is too chatty even for me, long time HIPS user :)
When they add option to consolidate rules and create rules more quickly I will probably use it. I think they will make new HIPS feature better in time.

Yep. Might want to add some outbound control on your firewall. Maybe adding private, outpost, zonealarm, comodo. Just make sure that sandboxie is configured properly ( See multiple threads in sandboxie.) You could also add some system hardening like EMET and setting UAC to max.

Trying EMET. I haven't looked into how to set it up, just starting out with it set on maximum, which is DEP always on, SEHOP opt out and ASLR opt in. So far things are running okay.

Well, I can create some global rules in MD that makes it much less chatty. Nod HIPS doesn't allow me to create global rules, use wildcards ... Learning mode creates hundreds of rules which would take me hours to check... Only option right now is to either put it in Automatic mode or put it in Learning mode and after some time put it in Interactive mode. There will probably be hundreds of rules after 14 day of learning to go through.
