Vipre Antivirus 5.0 / Vipre Internet Security 2012 question

Good day,

I need your help, I've a valide licence for Vipre Premium (until 2013) and I would like make a try on the new Vipre Internet Security 2012 that seem to be released...but I can't figure out how I can download the setup installer...

I'm always stuck to the email adresse setup page for a trial version, but I don't wan't a trial ! I've already a beautiful licence ! where can I simply acces to a download page for existing user ??

If you already have a current version of Vipre installed, all you have to do is add the /beta switch after the command line in the Vipre shortcut and then run it and check for updates.

(Example: "C:\Program Files\GFI Software\VIPRE\sbamui.exe" /beta)

But no unfortunately Vipre wasn't installed. For a better evaluation on a new major version, a prefer a new and fresh install.

I had problems doing a clean install. It would not let me use my 4.0 license. I then reinstalled version 4.0 and did the upgrade using the /beta switch. It upgraded just fine and I was then able to put in my 4.0 license to activate version 5.0.

 

Okay I understand, it's easier to go by the way of the "internal upgrade" mean you upgrade your 4.0 installation to 5.0...that ok...

But unfortunately, I erase my version 4.0 installer, so I've stuck for now...maybe my friend Google will help me...

Thanks for your effort to help me, but I've already tried this link and I still landing to my "free trial page of death"

It's a weird way from GFI to manage their costumer...for the other AV developper that I bought a licence...you need the installer ? go to the download page...install...put your licence and it's done... why it's so complicated with GFI ??

The trial is the same as the full version. You just need to enter your key into VIPRE to register the paid product.

So simply play the free trial procedure and after 15 days ignore the 'Free Trial is expired' email message...I can live with it

No, what I mean is that you want to install the free trial then enter your registration key to enable your subscription. After you install it, just go to Help > Register and enter your key here.

 

where can i download Vipre 5 offline installer ??
