    I have another question regarding the URL filter.

    Mine doesn't work immediately. I used the testurlfilter using Chrome and it went through, I tried it again twice, still the same results. Also tried it in IE, not working too. My laptop has been running only for 5 minutes. Then after an hour I decided to try it again on Chrome and IE and this time it blocked the testurlfilter.

    I'm using Win7x32.

    Any explanations? Does the URL filter have some kind of a delayed startup or something? Thanks!

    Can you send me some md5 hashes of those files? As mentioned they could have been uploaded to CI in case the backend asked for them. It would be unusual but not unheard of if many of them were requested.

    Also once checked for the first time they should be in the cache. If you repeat the process does it still take up CPU time?

    Did you notice if the process Panda_URL_Filtering.exe was running when you tested it?

    * Autorun - automatically runs every time you start your computer
    * Process - a process that runs on your computer
    * ProcessStart
    * GlobalHookCreate
    * ExecutableCreate
    * DnsApiUse
    * EnumerateFiles
    * RemoteCode

    I can confirm this. Repeating the process still has some impact on CPU, but it's minimal, I guess i'ts because PCAV still analyzes files on-access everytime and after veryfing the cache it calms down. Am I correct?

    BTW: do you still need the MD5's? I can tell you that those are only installers for common apps like CCleaner, ZSoft Uninstaller, Virtualbox, Adobe Flash, Java, Adobe Reader, etc...

    I haven't run into this problem yet, but where do you submit FP's if you have one?

    It's OK, it does what it's supposed to do, filter URLs and update/upgrade itself.

    Yes, correct!

    Not at all. With very few exceptions most AVs nowadays run in 32bit mode under 64bit OSs anyway.

    Is there any final take on lifetime licensing for PCAV?

    None that I know of. Our marketing/business people are evaluating that.

    Thank you very much. BTW, is there a way to check the remaining days of my PRO license from within the GUI?

    Not yet. You still have to enter the license into the myaccount at www.cloudantivirus.com to see that. We will add it in the future as its in the backlog.

    I got Panda Cloud pro free via a promotion but seem to have lost the key.
    I want to try another AV product for a while and will uninstall panda, my question is if I write down the product serial number will I still be able to activate it if I reinstall?

    Yes you will. Just remember that if the activation tells you that you've reached the maximum number of installations for that license key, simply go to myaccount @ www.cloudantivirus.com and unlock the key so that you can re-use it.

    I agree, I want a lifetime key make it $100 or something for one pc. I really like PCA Pro and hate yearly fees. but thats just me.
